When tourists bathe in the Dead Sea in Israel, they usually have a picture taken showing them floating in a near sitting situation and reading a newspaper to boot!
This is the cause why the Dead Sea is so famous. Floating on it is so easy, and it’s just about impossible for anybody to drown there! The Dead Sea on the other hand is far denser than seawater because of its extreme salinity. Normal seawater has 3 percent salt contents, but the Dead Sea has a stunning 30 percent salt content! This higher than standard density enables objects to float higher in the Dead Sea high enough for tourists to read a newspaper while have their picture taken!
