Among the spider species, the Bolas Spider is probably the best at manipulating its silk. The Bolas Spider does not spin any web. Instead it uses its silk to "fish" for insects. Bolas Spider will hang upside down form a twig using its fourth pair of legs and silk stand to sewer itself. Then with one of its front legs it will suspend another single position of silk tipped with a sticky ball of glue at the end. The sticky ball or the bolas is placed with pheromones are used to trick the male with into believing that there are females around the area.

At the same time the bolas spider will move backward and forward its amazing tool in a circle, either to better spread of stick the bolas to the month. The male moth approaching a waiting "female" for mating is instead met with the sticky glue. Stuck to the Bolas Spider it is then reeled in paralyzed and then devoured. It is also believed that the Bolas Spider is able to change the pheromones to tune in to the seasons and growth stages on the month.
